THE PILOT
Since February 2022, Jackson’s rapid adaptation to the road racing circuit has been nothing short of exceptional.
At 9 years of age, Jackson was issued an age exemption to compete in his debut year on the FIM Mini GP Australia circuit. Learning, developing, and racing against 14-year-olds, Jackson completed the 2022 season with race finishes inching closer to the podium.
In 2023, at 10 years of age, Jackson earned numerous PBs on the Ohvale 160cc in the FIM Mini GP Australia World Series, smashing his lap times from 2022. Jackson achieved consistent top-five race finishes and set multiple lap times and records along the way.
2023 also saw a deep faith and support of his development with the introduction of ‘big-bike racing’. On a Honda custom RS85cc, previously raced by Moto 2 star Senna Agius, Jackson raced the two-stroke against some of Australia’s rising stars.
In 2024, Jackson inched closer to setting a new junior lap record at Mount Gambier and set both qualifying and race lap records at 'The Bend', beating his nearest junior competitors by significant margins. He also went on to set lap times at Broadford Motorcycle circuit that took a strike at the long-held Joel Kelso lap record - missing the accolade by just .032! Jackson claimed a State championship as well as the highly regarded Hartwell series.
Jackson also placed 12th overall in the 2024 MIR Spanish Championship on board a Moto 5, despite missing a round of the series. Impressively, Jackson was the 4th placed non-Spanish racer - an outstanding result from a non-core country junior road racer.
Jackson maintained a flexible schedule in 2025 due to an untimely injury, moving between Honda RS85 state and national racing in Australia, and spent time in Spain to train with none other than specialist coach to some of the world's best racers; Chicho Lorenzo. Jackson returned to the international circuit and contested multiple rounds of the MIR Spanish Championship on board a Promo 3 - the premier class. On debut in this class and with two impressive outings, Jackson made his mark and intentions clear for 2026 👊🏻
Jackson’s riding style and off-track charm have captured the attention of many in the road racing community, reminiscent of racing stars before him. Jackson has benefited from calm, wise support to navigate the complexities of the sport. Further, he is mentored by the Aussie Athlete Fund and sports industry experts with critical skills in fundraising, media and sponsor relations.
The 2026 season fast approaches with opportunity now available on board a Honda NSF250 in Australia as well as further training and competition in Spain and Asia.
We have been fortunate to receive contributions to Jackson’s racing by way of bike allocation, riding product discounts and financial donations. Jackson is an incredible public speaker who has appeared on stage at the Australian Motorcycle GP with famous Chef Miguel for an interview, has been interviewed on local youth radio, and has been interviewed for his local newspaper. Jackson’s social media is built on his input and monitored by his parents. The pages portray an honest and journey story that is engaging to his supporters.
